Who Can Join Tournaments?

Anyone can browse tournaments and view stats—but playing in them depends on your account type.

Here’s how it works:

• Sporcle Orange members can join and play in any tournament.

• Non-Orange users (but logged in) can still join most tournaments by paying a small fee in Florins (Sporcle’s virtual currency).

• Open Tournaments are completely free to join for all logged-in users. These are usually created by Sporcle staff and are available to everyone, no Florins or Orange needed.
