If you created your Sporcle account using Sign in with Apple with the Hide My Email option enabled and are having trouble accessing your account or receiving password reset emails, follow these steps to regain access.
Step 1: Find Your Hidden Email
When you choose Hide My Email, Apple generates a private email address that forwards messages to your actual inbox. To locate this email:
1.Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad.
2.Tap your name at the top.
3. Navigate to iCloud > Hide My Email.
4.Look for Sporcle in the list. The email shown is the one associated with your account.
Step 2: Forward Emails to Your Primary Email
If you’re not receiving password reset emails, check if Apple allows forwarding:
1. Go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Hide My Email.
2.Tap Forward To and ensure it’s set to your active email.
Step 3: Update Your Email on Sporcle (If Needed)
If you’d prefer to use your actual email instead of the hidden one, we can manually update it in our system. Contact our support team to request an email update.
