1. Your Email May Be Marked as “Bounced”
Sporcle’s system automatically marks an email as “bounced” if messages sent to that address fail to deliver. This can happen if:
•The email address is truly invalid.
•Your inbox was full or temporarily unavailable when Sporcle tried to send an email.
•Your email provider rejected the message.
How to Fix It
•Contact Sporcle Support at feedback@sporcle.com and request to have your email “bounce” status cleared.
•Once cleared, try resending the verification email or password reset email.
2. Your Email Address is Incorrect or No Longer Accessible
If you signed up with an old email (e.g., a school email you no longer have access to) and need to update it, you may not be able to receive verification emails.
How to Fix It
•If you can still log in, go to Sporcle Account Settings and update your email.
•If you are locked out, contact feedback@sporcle.com with proof of account ownership (do not post this information publicly).
3. Emails Are Going to Spam or Promotions Folder
Sometimes, email providers mistakenly categorize Sporcle emails as spam or promotional content.
How to Fix It
•Check your Spam, Junk, Social, and Promotions folders for messages from do-not-reply@sporcle.com.
•Add do-not-reply@sporcle.com to your contacts or safe sender list.
4. You’re Trying to Change Your Email, but the New Email is Not Receiving a Verification Code
If you’re trying to update your email address but aren’t receiving the verification code, it may be due to a “bounced” status on your account or a temporary system issue.

•Try again in a few minutes.
•Check your Spam and Promotions folders.
•If you still don’t receive the code, email feedback@sporcle.com and provide both your current and new email addresses.
5. Your Email is Already Associated with Another Account

6. Issues with Facebook Login
Sporcle no longer supports Facebook login. If your account was linked to Facebook and you can’t log in, request a manual password reset via feedback@sporcle.com.
